The 3rd Basic Echocardiography Course was officially launched today, 27 August 2014 at KFSH Conference Hall, Dr. Mohammad Saied, head of Non- Invasive Cardiology formally opened the two-day course. The target audience were fellows, Resident of Cardiology, Physician from peripheral Hospital, Sonographer and Technician.
Dr. Mohammad Saied, Head of Non-invasive Department of PSCCQ and course director welcomed all the participants to this course. Dr. Mohammed Saied said that this course focused on the most important rules of the medical examination of the heart, anatomy of the heart and its functions, and evaluated by testing two-dimensional and Doppler with the get acquainted with the diagnosis of diseases common to the heart via echo. Two Echo workshop will be done at the lecture. He also announced all the program and activities line-up in the coming year particularly in the echocardiography
A total of forty (40) participants were in attendance from various health sectors in the Qassim region. This course comes within the framework of educational activities designed by the Department of Education, Training and Research of PSCCQ. This activity has been approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for (12 CME) Hours.
