PSCCQ successfully launched the 1st PCI Qassim Summit‏

Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has successfully launched its 1st PCI Qassim Summit today at Movenpick Hotel. This summit was organized by Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim  in collaboration with the Saudi Heart Association and the Saudi Arabia Cardiac Interventional Society. It is accredited for 12 CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

 

The summit were attended by distinguished and experienced guest speakers from inside and outside Kingdom such as United State of America, Switzerland, India, Qatar and Saudi Arabia to share experiences and discussed evolving strategies for Primary PCI. This meeting is first of its kind to be held here in Buraidah.

 

PSCCQ Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned welcomed all the distinguished guest speakers, participants and eminent interventional cardiologist. He extended his gratitude and appreciation to organizing staff who have worked for the realization of this summit.

The assistant Director General of Health affairs Qassim, Mr. khalid declared that the measures taken by the health services in Qassim in partnership with center like  PSCCQ are very important in ensuring the quality of care being provided by the healthcare institution. He further stated that summit like this is a good investment in the development of health services being provided to all patient in the region. He also conveyed his appreciation to all the organizers who devoted their time and effort to make the summit a successful one. He also gave his thanks to PSCCQ Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned for holding such activity in the enhancement and betterment of the medical practitioners.

The event included the speech from the president of Saudi Arabia Cardiac interventional Society Dr. Khalid Al Faraidy who extended his greatest appreciation to PSCCQ for hosting this event and to the entire contributors for making this meeting possible. Dr. Khalid Al Habib, president of Saudi Heart Association on his welcome address he was very positive that this event will contribute significantly to the improvement in the knowledge- care gaps and to enhance the scientific network among all practitioners who are taking care of STEMI patient.
