As an extension of the efforts and services provided by Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Qassim, the Clinical Education Department provided its services to more than 1,698 patients during the past ten months. An information and educational drive was given to all patients from the inpatient and outpatient departments. 

The health educator from the center's Clinical Department disseminated health information to patients and their families while purposely promoting healthy lifestyles. The beneficiaries were also taught on what to do to reduce complications and progression of the disease while urging them to increase their capabilities to follow up on the treatment care plan. They were also inclusively provided with information on the correct and safe use of medicines while promoting the role of patients and their families in the continuity of treatment. In addition, the educator laid down sound health concepts and raise their awareness by teaching them on ways to prevent heart disease. They were also advised to refrain from wrong behavioral practices and dangerous habits such as smoking and drug abuse. 

Be it known that PSCCQ's Clinical Department is characterized and housed with distinguished specialized medical staff in the adult and pediatric departments. This department carries out educational campaigns for patients in the inpatient and clinic departments. More so, they also take external participation by educating correct scientific and theoretical knowledge to the largest possible number of beneficiaries. 

With this, PSCCQ is not just a center limiting its services to treatment alone. It is also a center that provides education to patients and their families to ensure a healthier lifestyle for everyone especially in the region and the entire Kingdom.
