The Prince Sultan Center for Cardiac Medicine and Surgery in Al-Qassim facilitated a course on the Basics of Electrocardiogram (ECG) at the training hall of King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Buraidah. This was purposefully conducted for all medical and nursing cadres of the center and other medical institutions.

The speakers/lecturers, Cardiology Specialist - Dr. Muhammad Shoman and Cardiologist - Dr. Sheikh discussed the basics of ECG, the fundamentals of planning and reading an electrocardiogram. They further taught the participants on how to read and analyze electrocardiograms (ECG's) with its normal and variable patterns.  According to them, this is very important for every medical care to learn and familiarize because they can continually monitor patients with significant cardiovascular disease and be able to provide the necessary actions and treatments. 

This activity was accredited for 7 training hours and was well-attended by more than 40 participants. And this is considered as one of the many educational and training activities organized by PSCCQ's Department of Education, Training, and Research.
