The Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Qassim celebrated the World Heart Day on Thursday morning, September 29, 2022. The center's Department of Clinical Education with the participation of the Department of Change and Institutional Communication, along with the Heart Failure Clinic substantiated the event with a provision of healthcare and health services to 47 beneficiaries with heart failure and cardiomyopathy wherein their health status is monitored remotely through modern, high-precision devices. More importantly, the patients are highly advised for frequent visits at the center for follow-up checkups.

As such, PSCCQ also applies several initiatives like the QAPAS initiative at all levels of the Kingdom. All of these services has been keenly integrated by the center's staff to ascertain the patient's satisfaction.

Moreover, everyone was showed a visual presentation of a patient's experience on the remote heart follow-up initiative for patients with myocardial infarction. Additionally, the tele heart which was implemented at the beginning of 2022 is also one of the center's qualitative initiative wherein some of the patients were commended for contributing to the success of their treatment plans and the improvement of their health conditions.

The PSCCQ management emphasized that it is deemed important to celebrate international health days especially if it relatedly focuses on heart diseases because it educates the society, in general and inculcate within their hearts and minds the preventive measures to avoid heart disease and other health issues, as well.

To complete and conclude the day's activity, the staff from the Clinical Education Department distributed a number of gifts to the center's inpatients and outpatients to strengthen the real essence of the celebration of the World Heart Day.
