The Journal of Pediatrics, Perinatology, and Child Health in America published a medical research intended for pediatric cardiologists of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Al-Qassim. The paper was entitled Congenital Flail Tricuspid Valve Leaflet; A Challenging Surgical Decision. It's filled in with a Case Report and a Literature Review for a more extensive and comprehensive out of every detail.

The paper was focused on conducting open heart surgery for a newborn in the first day of life to repair the triangular valve located between the right atrium and the right ventricle. This is referred to as Neonatal Tricuspid Valve Repair. More so, the paper tackled cases of newborns suffering from congenital defects in the tripartite valve, its accompanying change in the health condition of the child, and the methods of treatment to be considered.

It is worth noting that the child patient of the center's Pediatric Cardiology Department, whose oxygen level in the blood is unbalanced and not unmaintained, underwent a successful surgery conducted by the medical team. The blood cyanosis and academia that appeared in the newborn was successfully eliminated because of the surgery. After which, the child was discharged and released from the hospital in good health but is still subject for a follow-up checkup in the outpatient clinic of the department.

This particular paperwork is considered as part of the research activity of the Pediatric Cardiology Department of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Al-Qassim. PSCCQ's Consultants of Pediatric Cardiology, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mesned, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qwaee, Dr. Ali Al-Akhfash, the Consultant of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, Dr. Khalid Al-Howari, and the Consultant of Intensive Care, Dr. Bana altogether participated in the research to show their supports.
