The Cardiac Genetic Disorder Clinic of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim received 34 patients during 1st quarter of 2021.

These diseases in relation to cardiac genetic disorder are known as hereditary or transmission from one generation to another. Most of the cases affect the individual during the fetal stage that results in congenital abnormalities in the heart of the fetus. This may also be considered as part of one of the pathological heart syndromes and among the most famous of these diseases are the underdeveloped heart disorders of the heart valve, abnormal blood vessels, and many others. These cases are detected early from birth and are closely monitored to assess the condition of the fetus.

The management of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim disclosed that the said Cardiac Genetic Disorder Clinic is established to take care and focus on many concerns, including those who suffer from heart deficient growth, valve disorders, and other related cases. The clinic is strictly supervised by a consultant in this subtle and rare specialty. Since then, the clinic has been continuously receiving a considerable number of pediatric patients from within and outside the region. The administration and staff fervently pray that may Almighty Allah heal them all and may He guide the medical staff as they perform their respective tasks and duties.
