The Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Al-Qassim has received more than 1,200 cases from its lunching until the end of 2020.

It is widely known that pulmonary hypertension is a rare kind of disease that occur in a ratio of 1 per million according to global statistics. With the center’s desire to help and to serve, we opened a Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic in the year 1435 AH. This is to willingly address the region's need for the said medical service. After the opening, there was a drastic increase in the number of referrals referred to the center.

Dr. Muhammad Saied, Consultant Cardiologist said that this clinic aims to diagnose and discover rare cases of this disease. Accordingly, the clinic has discovered and has catered to more than 20 patients of the first type, which are considered rare cases and 4 cases of the fourth type resulting from pulmonary thrombosis. The complex operations done for these two cases are definitely a success. In Allah's power and guidance, the patients culminated in a complete recovery. From then on, an increasing number of patients from within and outside the region flocked into the clinic for treatment.
