Last year, 2020 AD, Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim successfully performed a total of 3,858 heart operations and cardiac catheterization. This was an extension of the health services provided by the center. 

A total of 3,584 patients including 206 children underwent cardiac catheterization operations and 274 patients, in which 153 were children, had undertaken heart surgeries.  

The Center Director of PSCCQ, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mesnid emphasized that everything was successful because of the existence of an integrated medical system for diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, not to mention the use of accurate medical tools such as diagnostic devices and cardiac catheters. He was thankful to Allah for guiding them all throughout their medical undertakings. Dr. Al-Mesnid was also happy for all the successful turnouts of the operations they have conducted, thus reducing the mortality rates of patients with heart disease.
