To continue its service to the community, Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has launched its awareness about the importance of Basic Life Support. One of the missions of the center is to encourage all members of the society (Male/Female) both Adult and Children alike to take part of these lifesaving skills.

Our team of qualified healthcare providers holds a series of demonstration of Basic Life Support. This time the campaign was held in the presence of 1200 students and faculties. The campaign was held at Qais bin Qasim Secondary School and Kairouan Secondary School in the city of Buraidah.

A short video was shown to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach on how to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and for someone experiencing choking. Afterwards the students and their faculties were able to practice using dummy mannequin.

The center is keen to pursue more of this awareness. The team effort were paid off with the overwhelming success of the event.
