| Pediatric Cardiology Department of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim is pleased to announce the forthcoming 12th Fetal Echocardiography Hands-on Course for three days (3) which will be held starting February 19-21, 2019, at Maternity & Children Hospital, Buraidah Al Qassim. This course is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for 21 CME hours. According to Dr. Ali Al Akhfash, Course Director that this course is uniquely designed because PSCCQ is the only center that offers and provides this specialized program. He added that this program is also helpful and indeed important for medical practitioner especially those specializing in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatric Cardiologist and Sonographer because they will be well skilled and sufficiently knowledgeable to detect defects of the fetus during early fetal development through a full scan of the heart. An early diagnosis of any abnormalities would likewise help in providing the best therapeutic intervention at the earliest possible time. We invite distinguish speakers who will join us to share their skills and knowledge in this field of expertise. Hence, the participants will have the chance to practice on volunteer pregnant women to learn the basic of fetal heart scan and recognize the major abnormalities. By the end of the 3- day’s course all the participants will be able to learn how to perform complete fetal heart scan.
