Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim held the Monday Grand Round on Cardiac Source of Embolization from Cardiologist Point of View on January 28, 2019. The said grand round was attended by PSCCQ & KFSH doctors and medical students.

The grand round in the field of medicine usually refers to a methodology of medical education which includes the presentation of the medical problem and treatment of a particular patient to an audience consisting of doctors, residents, and medical students.

Dr. Mohammed Saied PSCCQ's Consultant Cardiologist and Head of Educational Department and Research gave a lecture about recent developments of strokes as a result of cardiac thrombosis. The said lectures discussed the main causes of thrombosis, its diagnosis, and its corresponding treatment in the light of recent developments. The discussion also extends on the subject of unknown cerebral thrombosis, which is related to the cardiac outputs that exist in the atrium. The modern method of prevention and treatment was clearly elaborated.
