The Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim, spearheaded by the Quality Management and Patient Safety Department organized a lecture regarding Risk Management with all the PSCCQ staff as its respondents. This was conducted with a series of informative lectures.

Dr. Majeda Farajat, the Director of Quality Management and Patient Safety Department discussed the full introduction of the Risk Management and how it is important in an organization. Risk usually refers to the main cause of uncertainty in an organization. It may both come from internal and external sources. External risks are those that do not come in direct control of the management. On the other hand, internal risks are considered within the non-compliance of information breaches, among others.

In which case, PSCCQ came up with the action of creating a Risk Management Team led by Dr. Mohammed Dagestani as the chairman. This team is bound to their roles of identifying risks, thereafter, must come up with strategies in combating these risks and must then execute the formulated strategies and finally convince and motivate the members of the center to take part and cooperate in whatever strategy that is being imposed. 

More importantly, this course was designed and purposely conducted to embrace its focus on raising the efficiency of the employees in all the departments. The series of lectures given was supplemental enough to ensure the provision of satisfactory and excellent health care services. 

It was heartwarming, gratifying, and satisfying to know that the event turned out successful. Preferably, this wouldn't be the first and the end. PSCCQ planned of doing this activity periodically so that every employee in the center will be catered.
