The Prince Sultan Cardiac Center was overwhelmed and happy to announce that they finally achieved one of the most important objectives of the Medical Coordination Department, which is to reduce the number of patients in the waiting list in order to offer a quality medical service to patients and assure them of a one day catheterization and other interventional operations. Thus, it aims to decrease the large waiting numbers in the previous years to a zero rate at present.

This was clearly explained by the Head of Medical Coordination, Ms. Gaida Bint Saad Al-Najem. She also confirmed that this was made possible through constant coordination with the other medical departments of the center, through phone calls and the use of social media in reaching out to the patients and completes the medical procedures in a span of 24 hours.

Currently, a patient is scheduled for a one-day catheterization. Each patient is set to occupy a bed for two-three days as he/she is undergoing a series of medical tests such as blood test. This is truly a hassle-free system for the patients since it looks after their welfare.
