PSCCQ RECEIVES SPECIAL COMMENDATION AND RECOGNITION FROM GOVERNOR OF QASSIM REGION

Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim received a special commendation from His Royal Highness, the highly respected Governor of Qassim Region, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz. PSCCQ was commended and recognized for its unwavering care and attention to the health sector, stressing the developing health services provided to patients in their native homeland. He likewise praised the quality medical services offered to the patients by the center through the guidance of the General Directorate for Health Affairs in Al Qassim. Moreover, His Royal Highness praised the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center for its excellence and distinctive service in being the best referral center for all patients in the entire Kingdom. He was indeed impressed with the center by overcoming all the challenges it faces in order to achieve the goals in terms of medical care.

Because of its quality and incomparable services, PSCCQ is no doubt the leading center in the provision of excellent and satisfactory medical services. Therefore, it is with great pride to have extended gratitude to everyone who has taken part and has contributed in the realization of the vision and mission of the center to be a role model in providing cutting-edge for all cardiac patients and so with the best healthcare and attention in the Kingdom.


The said commendation happened during a meeting with His Highness, the Emir of Qassim Region held at his office at Buraidah together with Mr. Mutlaq Al Khamaly, Director General of Health Affairs PSCCQ Deputy Center Director Mr. Abdullah Al Fouzan, and Head of Pediatric Cardiology Department Dr. Abdullah Al Qwee along with medical and technical staff from PSCCQ

It was further elaborated that the medical team has conducted 54 successful operations during their mission in Jizan. Relatively, they are hopeful to complete 100% missions at the end of 2018 and indicating that the said mission will follow an integrated medical plan under the supervision of the Ministry of Health where it has to be arranged three months prior to the scheduled date of the planned workshop. There must also be a distribution of tasks to all the concerned departments and the presence of 33 medical staff from various disciplines to actively participate in the mission of the Center. More so, he emphasized that the medical staff conducted 40 cases of interventional catheterization and treatment of various work and all heart problems and congenital defects. Most cases were discharged right on the same day while 14 open heart surgeries were performed, ranging from simple to complex. Fortunately, all operations were successfully conducted.
