Basic ECG Interpretation Course has successfully concluded

The Department of Education, Training, and Research at Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim has successfully conducted a CME academic activity entitled "BASIC ECG INTERPRETATION COURSE” held from 20-21 January 2016 at Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim Conference Room.


Cardiologists and nurse specialists from PSCCQ conducted this activity and highlighted the main topics specific to basic ECG interpretation.

Four workshops, two on each day, were held for both doctors and nurses. The nurses’ workshops highlighted on the mechanics of ECG recording system, and the basic of ECG leads. For doctors, the workshops were focused on ECG in special clinical scenarios.

 

This 2-day event was attended by cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in the region. This activity has been accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for 10 CME/PD hours.
