The surgical team of PSCCQ was able to do a high risk operation of a 57 years old Male,  a consultant physician currently working in one of the healthcare facilities in Qassim area. The patient was suffering from severe dyspnea and hypertension. The patient was brought to the center where an echocardiography and CT Angiography was done. It was clear that the patient has an impending rupture aortic root aneurysm.

The center’s surgical team headed by Dr. Yousry El Moazamy has successfully did a complete resection of the aneurysm and the aortic root was replaced with a composite graft and coronary osteum translocation was done. The patient has responded well with the treatment and now is on his way to a full recovery. The patient was discharged from the center in a stable condition.

This type of operation is high risk surgery that it can only be done in the specialized cardiac center due to its need for special equipment and high surgical skills which is available at PSCCQ.
