The Department of Education, Training and Research of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has successfully launch its first Foundation in Cardiac Medication Course held last 28-29 of April 2015.

This course is primarily designed to facilitate medical practitioner to understand the fundamentals of cardiac medication. The course cover the topics such as Vasodilators 1&2, Drugs acting on the Renin- Angiotensin- Aldosterone, Calcium Channel blockers, Review of Hemodynamics, Diuretics, Inotropic Agents, Aldosterone, Antidysrhythmic drugs, Drug that help normalize cholesterol and triglyceride levels, Anticoagulant, Antiplatelets drugs and among others.
