SCHS visit PSCCQ for re-accreditation

A committee from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties visited Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim last Tuesday, 19 of April 2015 for re-accreditation of Critical Care Nursing Diploma, which was launched on January 2012 in collaboration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

The committee represented by Dr. Yasir Faden, Dr. Sulieman Jisteneh and Dr. Wael Al Zeer met with Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mesned, PSCCQ center director, and he informed them about the success of the training programs and discussed the future plan of the continues education, research and training activities in the center. After that the committee discussed with the diploma director Ms. Laila A, Eddin , Ms. Kahkashan Sana, Nursing Director, and Ms. Cindy Vargas , diploma coordinator, the criteria of re-accreditation , training plans , teaching and evaluation methods . The committee also visited the skills laboratory which is fully equipped with all required resources for the training .

At the end of the meeting the committee announced their decision to continue the accreditation of the center as training center for the critical care diploma. We would like to mention that the center has been re-accredited earlier as a training center for Cardiovascular Nursing Diploma.
