The 18th awareness campaign for preventing heart disease was launched in the presence of the Deputy of Center Director of PSCCQ Mr. Abdullah Al-Fawazn, on Fridy night coinciding 4/ 4 / 2014 at the Al Nakheel Plaza Buraidah City, with the theme “Your Heart Is Your Life : Protect Your Heart Youth.”
Large number of people has attended the public activity from all community categories of men, women, and children. They visited all campaign tables which were allocated for measuring the height, weight, body mass index, blood sugar and cholesterol. They were given advises on the common he.art disease risk factors such as obesity, unealthy nutrition, smoking, lack of sport and exercise . Specialized doctors and cardiologists provided advises and medical consultation throughout the said activity.
Many health education brochures, leaflets, gifts and other tokens were distributed by the campaign team .
