The Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) is equipped with the latest healthcare technology to provide critical care to postoperative cardiac-surgery patients. The CSICU is divided into two distinct areas for receiving medical care: pediatric and adult.

The Unit encompasses twelve beds, among which six are assigned for CSICU and the other six for the Cardiac Step-Down Unit. Moreover, the Unit is staffed with qualified and experienced multidisciplinary team including consultants’ physicians, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, clinical nutritionists, nurses. Our Nurses are renowned for their high ability to take care of pediatric patient with heart disease, including newborns.

Thus, based on our Nurses’ skills and efficiency, they are regularly assigned to train and mentor nurses in other facilities.
