Case Report and Review Related
to Literature.
It was learned that
acute pulmonary hypertension is serious complication and has major impact on clinical
outcome in patients with or without chronic PH. Treatment in the ICU should be
based on the underlying pathophysiology, but ultimately needs to focus on the
basic goals of lowering RV after load and augmenting RV preload and contractility,
early recognition of patients at particular risk and timely establish of efficient
therapeutic action like EMCO, LVAD may prevent the development of severe
cardiac dysfunction, low cardiac output and death. Despite recent advance management of PH
pulmonary crisis is a lethal disease.
After the successful
conveyance of his lecture, Dr. Saied proudly presented and shared the
rewarding outcome of the recently concluded 13th Conference of the Saudi
Society for Pulmonary Hypertension held last February 13-15, 2020 in city of Riyadh,
