PSCCQ has successfully concluded
the 1st Adult Cardiac Intensive Care Nursing Course and workshop
for cardiac nursing held on Thursday at Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim conference
room.
The said course focused its target
recipients to the center’s nursing staff, as well as those working at various
hospitals in the entire region, especially the nurses assigned in the
intensive care, emergency, and cardiac departments.
According to Ms. Laila Mahmoud
Hassan, Deputy Nursing Director this course is a part of the series of
courses organized by the center in order to raise the scientific and
practical level of services of the nursing staff working in critical
departments. The participants are given enough detailed information to substantiate their
knowledge in providing specialized nursing care. Furthermore, they were
trained to alleviate their performances and be able to cope up according to
international standards for the care of cardiac patients in the departments
of the cardiac and intensive care.
Meanwhile, this course was
accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for 18 CME hours.
This was also attended by around 50 nurses from different hospitals.
More so, the course organizer and
the people behind the success of this program were overwhelmed with the
positive response of the participants. They are looking forward to conducting
similar course in the future. This is a leap towards PSCCQ’s mission of
giving out the best medical service.
