PSCCQ
has successfully hold awareness campaign at Qassim Health Cluster in
Al-Qassim Region in the presence of the Qassim Health
Cluster CEO Dr. Sultan bin Saud Al-Shaya. About 100 health cluster employees participated
in the campaign carried out today by the Prince Sultan cardiac Center Qassim
at the headquarters of the Qassim Health Cluster. This campaign comes within
the programs initiated by PSCCQ that provided many preventive services for
employees and the provision of medical advice for the prevention of heart
disease.
The campaign included a number of
educational health workshops like weight and height measurement, body mass
index, blood pressure and blood sugar level. They also presented the right and
proper diet for a healthy nutrition, the fight against obesity, sports
workshops, and no smoking advocacy provided by health educators. The participating
doctors willingly gave health consultations and an insight on the principles of
CPR to the visitors.
Furthermore, the CEO, Dr. Sultan Al-Shaya
praised and lauded the educational and awareness programs of Prince Sultan Cardiac
Center Qassim which recorded positive outcomes in discovering new medical
conditions and spreading health awareness among all segments of society, and
noting that the Qassim Health Cluster is keen on the health and safety of its
employees. He also saluted the center for being present in all health-related
activities in the region may it be private or government-sponsored programs.
He stressed out that the center will always be willing to lend a hand
in the name of medical service. The campaign also was grace by the
presence of the PSCCQ’s Center Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesnid.
