His Royal Highness and Governor of Qassim
Region, Prince Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulazis, launched the
awareness campaign bearing the slogan, “Your Heart Your Life, Protect Your Heart”. The launching was also graced with the presence of His
Royal Highness, Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulazis, the
Deputy Governor of Qassim Region. Likewise, this was also attended by the
Director General of Health Affairs in Qassim, Mr. Mutlaq Al-Khamali, the Director
of Health Qassim Cluster, Dr. Sultan Alshaya the Center Director of Prince
Sultan Cardiac Center Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Al Mesnid along with his Deputy
Director Mr. Abdullah Al Fouzan.
This program was in line with the celebration
of the World Heart Day. His Highness listened to Dr. Al Mesnid while
elaborating the main concept of the campaign as well as its objectives. It
was explained that they are eyeing on students in schools, universities,
public parks, shopping malls and employees in their workplace as their
prospects in delivering the main aim and purpose of this particular campaign.
The center will be raising health awareness about prevention of the etiology
of heart disease because the most important goal of doing this is for
everyone to be aware on the early detection of heart disease and the
prevention of causes.
Moreover, His Highness highlighted the
importance of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and
also the need to protect the health sector because they are responsible for
ensuring the highest standards of the services provided. He commended and
praised the Director General of Health Affairs in Qassim and the Director of Prince
Sultan Cardiac Center for their selfless efforts in reaching out to educate
the people within their community to lessen the widespread of heart disease,
and for urging and driving their employees to exert more efforts to provide
the best possible care for patients with heart disease. Additionally, he
wished everyone a success and that this campaign may be able to reach its desired
purpose.
