PSCCQ successfully concluded the 7th Basic ECG Course for Physicians

The Department of Education, Training, and Research of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim successfully concluded the two-day course entitled the 7th Basic ECG Interpretation Course for Physician. A total of 35 medical practitioners were in attendance from various health sectors in the Qassim region. 

This course comes within the framework of educational activities designed by the Department Education, Training and Research of PSCCQ. The course cover the topics such as Basic Anatomy and Physiology of Conduction System, how to report ECG, Conduction Abnormalities, ECG for Diagnosis of Chamber enlargement, Myocardial Ischemia and Infarction, Supraventricular Arrhythmia, Ventricular Arrhythmia, ECG Electrolyte Disturbance and ECG in special Clinical Scenarios.

This activity has been accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for nine (9 CME) Hours. This course is conducted by PSCCQ cardiologists.

Furthermore, Dr. Mohammad Saied, Course Director said that learning Basic ECG is very essential to any Physician  because it is part of the initial evaluation of a patient who is suspected to have a heart related problem.
