PSCCQ successfully concluded its 8th Basic ECG Interpretation Course & Workshop for Nurses‏

The Department of Education, Training, and Research of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has successfully concluded its 8th  Basic Level ECG Interpretation Course & Workshop for nurses held last June 18-19,  2019 at PSCCQ conference Room. 

This course is primarily designed to help nurses understand what ECG is and learn and be able to put into practice.  This course will cover topics such as Cardiac Conduction System in relation to Circulation, Determining Heart Rate and ECG interval, The Normal Sinus Rhythm includes Sinus Bradycardia, Sinus Tachycardia, Sinus Arrhythmias, Sinus Pause and Sinus Arrest. Also the resource speaker discussed types of AV Block, and among other topic related to ECG. Summing up the entire activity, the resource speakers facilitated a simulation. This is their way of weighing the participant’s attention if they have truly grasped the lessons conveyed.  This course is conducted by PSCCQ staff.

This course comes within the framework of educational activities designed by the Education, Training and Research Department of PSCCQ. This activity has been accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for 11 CME Hours.
