The Department of Education, Training, and Research of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has successfully concluded its 1^st Cardiac Nursing Pharmacology Course held last 19-20 of March 2019 at PSCCQ conference Room. This two- day activity was attended by 35 nurses from the center and from various hospitals in Qassim Region. 

This course is primarily designed to help nursing professionals with the knowledge of pharmacological treatment of cardiac conditions. They will be able to understand drugs and how they can affect living things, know the right dosage of drugs and not just quantity, be able to identify and respond to drug interactions, reactions and side effects and treat accordingly, and to understand the process of drug intake, absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination.

This activity has been accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for 11 CME Hours.
