PSCCQ successfully concluded its participation in the 30th Saudi Heart Association

The Administration and Staff of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim attended the 30th Congress of the Saudi Heart Association held at the convention center in the capital of Riyadh.

This particular convention is considered to be the largest specialized cardiac scientific conferences in the Middle East. All those years, the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center has been consistent in actively participating through the provision of its scientific papers, lectures, and workshops.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Qwaee PSCCQ's Medical Director, Head of Pediatric Cardiology Department and Co-Chairman of Saudi Pediatric Cardiology Society.  Along with him is Dr. Rami Abazid, Director of Outpatient Clinics were among the organizing scientific committee.

In this year's conference, the participants involving scientific lectures were PSCCQ Center Director, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mesned, Dr. Ali Al Akhfash, Consultant Pediatric Cardiology; While Dr. Rami Abazid, Consultant Adult Cardiologist; Dr. Osama Smettei, Consultant Adult Cardiologist, presented lectures on cardiac imaging and Dr. Mehboob Ali Dar participated in the ECG course.

In this year, four scientific researches were presented to the competition for the award of the Professor Faqih Award, Dr. Rahim Gul won the first place and Medical Student Abdullah Al Turbak won 3rd place respectively during the culmination ceremony of the 30th Saudi Heart Congress. It is remarkable that Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Qassim created a record history by garnering the 1st and 3rd place in the search for the best scientific research since 2016.

PSCCQ is also proud that a number of research abstracts were accepted by Saudi Heart Association submitted by Dr. Mohammed Saeid, Dr. Fatin Ahmed, Dr. Rihab Noor Basharik, Dr. Yasser El Hindawi, Dr. Abdullah El Fehaid, Dr. Sultan Al Sultan, Dr. Omaima Ahmed, Dr. Amin Banamah, Dr. Fatin Osman Ahmed, and Dr. Majeed Al Harbi and Ms. Kahkashan Sana, PSCCQ’s Nursing Director.

Lastly, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned- PSCCQ center director, Dr. Abdullah Qwaee, Medical Director, expressed their happiness and contentment with the center’s active participation in this global conference which serves as a venue for enriching the scientific and research repository for all medical staff. This is definitely a great factor in helping raise the level of services provided to the patients suffering from this kind of diseases.
