PSCCQ's Consultant Cardiologist and Director of Pulmonary Hypertension Program, Dr. Mohammad Saied was invited by the Saudi Association for Pulmonary Hypertension to speak and give a lecture about Portopulmonary Hypertension: A Case Presentation, Update, and Review of Related Literature.

It was learned that pulmonary hypertension associated with portal pressure is resulting from hepatic cirrhosis. Thus, the extensive discussions of the lecture also recommend the need to conduct deeper studies to detect the disease. Furthermore, it is also highly recommended to deeply hold more studies and research on the need to convert the patients to the centers which accordingly offer the needed treatment or should it be performed with a liver transplant.

After the successful conveyance of his speech/lecture, Dr. Saied proudly presented and shared the rewarding outcome of the recently concluded 12th Conference of the Saudi Society for Pulmonary Hypertension held last February 14-16, 2019 in city of Manama Bahrain.
