The Department of Education, Training, and Research of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim has successfully conducted the two-day course entitled 8^th  Basic Echocardiography Course last  January 22-23, 2019 at PSCCQ conference Room. This 2- day course was also accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for 11 CME hours. With 25 medical practitioners were in attendance from various hospitals in Qassim Region.

Dr. Mohammad Saied, Head of Department of Education, Training, and Research and the Course Organizer emphasized that the course was totally wrapped up with 14 scientific lectures discussed by a group of cardiologists of the center. They presented and elaborated the latest developments in this field echocardiography. Furthermore, the lectures were supported by a practical workshop. This time, the participants were trained regarding this very important medical procedure which dealt on the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.

Dr. Mohammad Saied, the Course Organizer, expressed his sincerest thanks and appreciation to the center's management and to the staff of the Department of Education, Training, and Research for their voluntary and selfless efforts and arrangements that led to the continuation of this session in a regular basis. He deeply hoped that this particular assemblage would help the center in achieving its objectives and desired goals of helping the cardiac patients not only within the Qassim Region but all throughout the Kingdom as well.
