| The Department of Education, Training, and Research of PSCCQ has successfully concluded the 7th National Advanced Learning Course on ECG and Cardiac Arrhythmias on January 8-9, 2019 at King Fahd Specialist Hospital Auditorium. There were around 132 medical practitioners were in attendance from various health sectors from inside and outside the Kingdom. Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Mehboob Ali Dar has formally opened the two-day activity; he said that this course has been organized to provide a unique learning opportunity to recognized and approached cardiac arrhythmias disorders. He likewise extends his gratitude to the guest speakers who are the pioneers and experts in the field of Electrophysiology in the Kingdom who spared their time to teach and share their insight. Dr. Mehboob emphasized that the said course includes 16 scientific lectures and mini-workshop with the latest developments in the Advanced ECG. The course has been approved for 10 CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The Center Director Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned along with him is the Center's Deputy Director Mr. Abdullah Al Fouzan and Medical Director; Dr. Abdullah Al Qwaee graced their presence on the event to show their support to the continuous training conducted by the center. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned marked the opening of the two-day activity which he welcomed the distinguished speakers and participants with warmth and cordiality. He drew the attention by emphasizing the Center's dedication and desire to set up this course once in a year and likewise include this in the annual training and educational activities carried out by the center because of its importance in the field of electrocardiography. Dr. Al Mesned wished and hopes that participants would be able to achieve the desired goals and be able to reflect at the outcome on the medical services they have provided to their patients. He also added that the center will continually conduct such activities because he firmly believed that unselfishly sharing their learned knowledge and reaching out to the people is the core value of PSCCQ. Along with this line, he also acknowledged the education department for their unsparing hard work and collaboration to put every PSCCQ activity a real success. Indeed, the activity turned out successful. The organizers, as well as the participants, are looking up to engage in a similar course in the future. |
