In response to the invitation of the administration of the Madina Secondary School Buraidah, the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim held an awareness campaign inspired by its title and theme "Your Heart is Your Life, Protecting Your Youth's Heart". As concerned health organization in the community, PSCCQ showed its active participation and support to the educational sector through this campaign and likewise to set off the International Day of Diabetes.

The event commenced with words of welcome from the School Administrator, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Rasheed. He warmly acknowledged the presence of the PSCCQ team and equally thanked them for administering the campaign in the school's vicinity.

The campaign practically involved the students and their teachers as they were given chance to take and know their blood pressure, sugar, as well as the weight and height measurement. The students were also oriented and lectured with the identification of proper and harmful nutritional diet, the benefits of engaging in a regular exercise. The medical team also conducted evaluation and assessment campaigns and distributed awareness brochures for the students to read and understand its importance.

As the campaign ended, the school administrator himself extended his thanks and appreciation to the entire medical team for voluntarily sharing their time and efforts to make the event effective and successful. Likewise, the campaign team was more than glad and grateful to have received such appreciation and gratitude.

It is worth mentioning that some of the members of the medical team are from the Cardiovascular Diploma Program of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center. This program is held in the center for two years and has been accredited by SCHS.
