The Prince Sultan Cardiac recently received an international accreditation for doing and conducting training internationally. This was awarded by the American Heart Association which is known to specialize in training programs, particularly on cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The center is proud to inform everyone that this accreditation will make a qualitative leap in the field of biomedical training. This is likewise a great honor and pride for the center who continuously aim to provide quality service to their patients.

Ms. Latifa Al-Fuhaid, coordinator of training on cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation programs of the center, clearly emphasized the importance of conducting this program. She further said that such training will help train staff to efficiently improve their nature of work and shall, therefore, raise the chances of survival of patients suffering from sudden cardiac arrest. She also explained that this is not just an ordinary activity. And that all medical and nursing staff in the center where trained according to the most recent international standards in this specialized field. Moreover, the participants were given certificates from the American Heart Association to gratefully acknowledge their presence and participation.

The center is keen, determined, and willing enough to pursue more of this training program. Therefore, it was placed on top of its priorities within the framework of its plan in raising the rehabilitation of health care services in the region.

On other hands, it is worth mentioning that the center has trained cardiopulmonary resuscitation among eight staff in coordination with the American Heart Association. This will surely be a pleasurable and mounting help in alleviating the center's services.
