PSCCQ successfully holds symposium on pulmonary hypertension update

The Department of Education, Training, and Research of PSCCQ represented by the Pulmonary Hypertension Program in Qassim and in cooperation with King Saud Hospital in Unaizah holds a scientific symposium entitled “Pulmonary Hypertension Update: What is new in 2017". 

During this event, six scientific lectures were given in details, including all the aspects of the disease, from conversion to suspicion. Dr.Abdulkader Aswad discussed the Pulmonary Hypertension classification, definition and what is new in 2017.  Dr. Abdullah Al-Qwee, Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist also participated in the activity by giving a lecture and discussion about pulmonary hypertension in the pediatric age group

More so, Dr. Mohammed Saied shared his thoughts and knowledge on the general program of the Pulmonary Hypertension at Al Qassim Province He also discussed the role of diagnostic methods and treatment as well as medical cases that have been treated and the ways on how to deal with these cases. Furthermore, Dr. Saied never failed to mention the effective role played by the PSCCQ Administration, lead by the Center Director Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned for supporting the program.

Moreover, Dr. Saied proudly says that the Department of Education, Training, and Research is seeking to carry out a day of awareness of Pulmonary Hypertension in the various hospitals of Al Qassim. This program will surely be of great help in raising the awareness of the people in the community.

This event is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for (6) CME hours and it is attended by more than 100 participants from various hospitals in Qassim Region.
